Who is responsible
Rose Global is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us using the contact details at the end of this page.
What we collect
We only collect information you choose to send us. The enquiry form asks for:
- Your name and email address, so we can reply
- Your company or brand, and a website or social handle, if you provide them
- The type of work you are enquiring about, and where and roughly when it would take place
- An indicative budget range, so enquiries can be answered realistically
- Your message, and any details specific to the type of enquiry (for a hotel, for example, the property and how you intend to use the images)
Why we collect it
To read and respond to your enquiry, and to discuss and carry out work if you go ahead. That is the only purpose.
We do not sell your information, share it for advertising, or add you to a mailing list from this form.
How your enquiry is handled
When you submit the form, the details are emailed directly to us using Resend, an email delivery service. The message is not saved into a database on this website.
Your enquiry then sits in our email account like any other email, and is kept for as long as it is useful for the working relationship, then deleted.
Cookies and analytics
This website sets no cookies, and stores nothing in your browser.
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It is served from our own domain, uses no cookies, and does not build a profile of you or track you across other websites. It records aggregate information such as which pages are visited, approximate country, and general device type.
Videos are not loaded until you click play. Only at that point does the video provider — YouTube, Vimeo or Instagram — receive a request from your browser, and their own privacy policy then applies. YouTube videos are embedded in no-cookie mode and Vimeo videos with do-not-track enabled.
Who else is involved
A small number of service providers process information on our behalf so this website can function:
- Vercel — hosts the website and provides the cookieless analytics described above
- Sanity — stores the site's text and photographs, and serves the images
- Resend — delivers enquiry emails to us
- Google — provides the email account the enquiries arrive in
Where your information goes
These providers are based in, or store data in, the United States. If you are contacting us from the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area or elsewhere, your information will be transferred there in order to reach us.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, or to object to how we are using it. If you are in the UK or the EEA these rights come from the UK GDPR and the GDPR; if you are in California they come from the CCPA.
To exercise any of them, email us using the address below. We will respond as quickly as we reasonably can, and within any period the law requires.
If you are in the UK or EEA and are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you may also complain to your national data protection authority.
Children
This website is aimed at people booking professional photography and video. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date.
